Warren Dale Harrison July 12, 1931 - April 26, 2011 Warren Dale Harrison, 79, of East 25th Street, died at 9:57 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Harrison was a former public accountant and former owner of Bresslers Ice Cream Store. A transportation driver for Just Friends Adult Day Services, he was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Johns Masonic Lodge No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star No. 550, Amaranth Alice Court No. 30 and the Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling and NASCAR. Born in Greensburg July 12, 1931, Mr. Harrison was the son of Andrew and Bessie McKay Harrison. He married Elizabeth Betty Jo Kuhn Sept. 17, 1954. Survivors include his wife; a son, Patrick (Ann) Harrison of Columbus; daughters, Melinda Sue (Rick) Garrett of Indianapolis and Michelle Kay (David) Slate of Connersville; grandchildren, Jana Frady, Melissa Slate, Cortney Harrison, Matthew Garrett, Hannah Garrett, Josh (Jennifer) Ziegler and Danielle (Eric) Boggs; great-grandchildren, Brayden Bunch, Nicolas Frady, Taylor Zeigler, Haven Zeigler and Koben Zeigler; a brother, Carl (Clara) Harrison of Franklin; and a sister, Jean (Don) Oljace of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information SERVICES: A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Cash officiating. CALLING: 1 p.m. until service time Sunday. INURNMENT: Private inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
