Clorstine Carol Roberts, 71, of Sims Drive, died at 3:05 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She was born in Adair County, Kentucky November 25, 1939, the daughter of Carlis and Mary Magaline Blades Brown. She married Charles Nick Roberts March 12, 1966. He survives.
After her mothers death, Carol was raised by her step-mother, Gervis Brown. Carol enjoyed shopping and going to garage sales. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Shawn Roberts and Tim Roberts, both of Columbus; a step-son, Rick (Linda) Roberts of Columbus; daughters, Vivian (Ron) Rice of Scipio and Tammy Sharp of Columbus; step-daughters, Vicki Lozier of Kentucky and Paula (Steve) Walker and Connie (Jim) Wilson, both of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 21 step-great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild is expected; and brothers, Roger (Kim) Brown and Marvin (Brenda) Brown, both of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Vivian Marie Sharp; brothers, Junior Brown and John C. J.C. Brown; sisters, Christine Adams and Mary Giles; and her step-mother.
Funeral Information
FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Armstrong officiating.
VISITATION: Will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
