Richard Earl Hoffman October 04, 1922 - February 16, 2011 Richard Earl Hoffman, 88, of Greenfield, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Regency Place in Greenfield. Mr. Hoffman was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Formerly of Columbus and Franklin, he was a graduate of Columbus High School and Columbus Business College. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Born in Franklin Oct. 4, 1922, Mr. Hoffman was the son of Earl T. and Pauline Eppley Hoffman. Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (Alireza) Wynelle Zohoori of Castle Rock, Colo.; grandchildren, Seyavash Zohoori and Parisa Zohoori; a cousin, Shirley A. Lyster of Columbus; a nephew, Michael (Janet) Ferry of Indianapolis; nieces, Judy (Steve) Rohlfing of Columbus; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Wynelle Huffman and Letha Hoffman; and a sister, Virginia Hoffman Ferry.
