JoRetta Sexton April 21, 1928 - December 20, 2010 JoRetta Sexton, 82, of Taylorsville, died at 12:14 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center. JoRetta was employed at Burds Cleaners for 40 years. She was affiliated with Berean Bible Church and was a faithful fan of Dog the Bounty Hunter and NASCAR and was especially a Tony Stewart fan. Born April 21, 1928, in Seymour, Mrs. Sexton was the daughter of Joseph White and Cora Parr White. She married Joseph H. Sexton July 16, 1967. He preceded her in death July 26, 1991. Survivors include a son, Billy J. Wright of Indianapolis; daughters, Susan Hunsucker of Seymour, Cindy Wright of Florida, Shelley Bates of Columbus, Mary C. Wright of Columbus, Sharon Phillips of Taylorsville and Sheila Duncan of Columbus; several grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. JoRetta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sherry M. Keller; a grandson, Billy Edward Phillips; and a niece, Bobbie Sue Royalty. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Day Sr. officiating. CALLING: noon until service time Thursday.
