Shirley Robertson April 23, 1932 - December 13, 2010 Shirley Robertson, 78, of Moonlight Court, died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Shirley was a talented artist and enjoyed making stained glass and painting. Her hobbies included playing tennis, gardening, reading and swimming. She was a member of First Baptist Church as well as Tri Kappa Sorority. She was a partner with her husband in Robertson Chevrolet-Pontiac and Robertson Construction. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was admired by her many friends for her passion for life. Arrangements were made by Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Born in Columbus April 23, 1932, Shirley was the daughter of Carl and Myrle Snyder McKinney. She married Leland Lee Robertson Jan. 20, 1951. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Dr. Rick (Michelle) Robertson of Plainfield, IN; grandchildren, Sylvia and Carl Robertson; and a brother-in-law, Joe Rabosky of Columbus She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Lee Rabosky. Funeral Information MEMORIAL SERVICE- conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Dr., with the Rev. Dan Cash officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. ENTOMBMENT: Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations Information Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or First Baptist Church.
