Theodore James Shepler July 28, 1938 - November 10, 2010 Theodore James Shepler, 72, of Woodcrest Drive, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Richard L. Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis. Theodore served with the United States Air Force during the Laotian Conflict. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he was a press operator. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles, loved to go to the horse track with his brothers and was an avid card player with his fraternal brothers. Born in Millersburg, Ohio, July 28, 1938, Theodore was the son of Clinton S. and Pearl Ling Shepler. He is survived by his girlfriend of 24 years, Patricia Carteaux; children, Kimberly Brewer and Kelly Taylor, both of Canton, OH, Katherine (Charles) Carteaux Braidich of Hope, IN, Jason (Angie) Hertenstein of Indianapolis, IN, Steven (Erin) Hertenstein of Fairfield, CA; and Stacie Hertenstein of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Nicole Beatty, Via Taylor and Sheyenne Brewer, all of Canton OH, Myles, Taia, Owen, Jameson and Maxine Hertenstein, all of Indianapolis, IN, and Bailey and Cobin Hertenstein, both of Fairfield, CA; brothers, Fred (Rosemary) Shepler, Larry (Joann) Shepler and Daniel Shepler, all of Canton, OH, Jon (Jane) Shepler of Clearwater, FL,. and his beloved dog, Tera. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Barr. Funeral Information There will be no services. Cremation is planned and Theodores ashes will be scattered at his favorite place in the whole world.
