Rondal Elwood Wesley, 65, of Road 500W, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Wesley loved riding motorcycles, traveling, racing and music. He was a good Samaritan and was able to fix anything with moving parts.
A longtime resident of Columbus, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was blessed with many good friends.
Born in Somerset, Ky., Dec 27, 1944, Mr. Wesley was the son of Herman E. and Eva M. Godsey Wesley. He married Shari K. Jones July 21, 1967.
Survivors include his mother, of Gallatin, Tenn.; his wife; a son, Tony (Jessica) Wesley of Edinburgh; a daughter, Rhonda (Vance) Murray of Columbus; grandchildren, Courtney and Taylor Murray and Kyle and Collin Wesley; a great-grandson, Gage King; and a sister, Jeannie (Aaron) Waller of Cottontown, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Information
FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Virl Murray officiating.
CALLING: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
Donations Information
