Sherry G. Mathews, 58, of Sycamore Street, died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Sherry volunteered at Columbus Regional Hospital. She helped handicapped people in Tell City. Sherry was part of the Columbus Accessibility Task Force and an Advocate for Disabilities in Columbus. She enjoyed bingo and crafts, especially making dream catchers. She was affiliated with Garden City Church of Christ.
Sherry was born May 2, 1951, the daughter of Raymond and Osie Whittington Tutterrow. She married Oliver J.R. Mathews May 21, 1971. He survives.
Surviving are daughters, Candy Fivecoat of Columbus and Sandy Mathews of Columbus; a grandchild, Dallas Fivecoat; a brother, Larry Dale Tutterrow of Mooresville; a sister Diane Zouble of Logansport and a best friend, Tyra Cataline.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

FUNERAL: Friday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
CALLING: Friday, 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery
