Isaac Mitchell Jr. November 11, 1952 - November 24, 2009 Isaac Mitchell Jr., 57, of Hillview Way, died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009. Mr. Mitchell retired from Cummins Engine Company after 30 years of service and receiving many awards for his employment there. He enjoyed gardening and fishing as well as woodworking. He made many items throughout the years for his family, auctions and giving them as Christmas gifts. Mr. Mitchell loved his 1966 Ford truck. He also loved his family, especially his grandpups. Born in Letcher County, Ky., Nov. 11, 1952, Mr. Mitchell was the son of Isaac Mitchell Sr. and Vera Boggs Mitchell. He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Mitchell of Columbus and Amanda (Chris) Clapp of Columbus; grandchildren, Kyle Beckemeyer, Jake and Faith Clapp and Caleb Wright; brothers, Hiram Mitchell of Whitesburg, Ky., Marston Mitchell of Columbus and Billy Ray Mitchell of Columbus; and sisters, Pearlie (Bill) Ross of Anderson, Wanda Carol Evans of Columbus and Darlene (Doug) Weaver of Fishers. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilkie Mitchell and Elwood Mitchell; and a sister, Minnie Mitchell. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Teike officiating.
