Lucille Nichols October 26, 1935 - August 09, 2009 Lucille Nichols, 73, of Midway Street died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Munfordville, Ky., Oct. 26, 1935, Mrs. Nichols was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Vance. She married Vernon Edd Nichols Jan. 17, 1955. He preceded her in death Dec. 17, 2003. She is survived by sons, George Ricky Nichols of Butlerville, Randall Keith Nichols and Joseph Lee Nichols, both of Columbus; a daughter, Delores Joann Sams of Seymour; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a special friend, April from Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband; sons, Hurley Ray Nichols, Darrell Junior Nichols, Orville Eugene Nichols, Tony Michael Nichols, Russell Eric Nichols, Edgar DeWayne Nichols and Mark Anthony Nichols; and a brother, Roger Vance.
