Evelyn D. "Sue" Lankford August 10, 1939 - February 11, 2009 Evelyn D. Sue Lankford, 69, of Hawcreek Boulevard died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Lankford enjoyed sewing, photography, painting, gardening, cake decorating and quilting. Born in Monroe County, Aug. 10, 1939, Mrs. Lankford was the daughter of Joseph Hendrickson and Olive Evelyn Moore Hendrickson Aynes. she married Maurice D. Lankford Dec. 22, 1957. Survivors include her husband; a son, M. David (Sean OLeary) Lankford of Bloomington; daughters, Carol M. (Daniel) Rice of Columbus and Denise A. (Michael) Richardson of Nashville; grandchildren, Amanda (Jacob) Rose, Sarah Rice and Katianna Richardson; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose; brothers, Ronald (Connie) Hendrickson, Robert (Donna) Hendrickson, Jerry Hendrickson, Roger (Susie) Hendrickson and Douglas Hendrickson, all of Owen County; and sisters, Karen (Charles) Norton of Bloomington and Judy (Frank) Bray of Owen County. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Danny and Michael Hendrickson. Funeral Information MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Ed Fryman officiating. VISITATION: 2 p.m. Saturday until service time.
