Kathryn R. Darst September 01, 1913 - January 31, 2009 Kathryn R. Darst,age 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31st 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. A long-time resident of Crawfordsville, Indiana, she married Raymond E. Stump, who was killed in action during WWII in 1944. In 1953, she married Louis C. Darst, and they moved to Indianapolis in 1959. He passed away in 1988,in Ft. Myers, Florida, where they had lived since 1981. She returned to Indiana in 1994, settling in Carmel. Survivors include four children; Martha Jo Kennedy (Noel), of Naples, FL., Richard L. Darst (Carole), Carol A. Caudill (Fred), and Will L. Stump (Yasmin). She is also survived by her sister Virginia Burgess (Ft. Myers Beach,FL),brother Walter C. Copper (Ft. Myers,FL), eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers Charles and Rudy Copper, and grandson Michael Stump. Funeral Information SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2009at Flanner and Buchannan Funeral Home in Zionsville, Indiana. ENTOMBMENT: will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, Indiana.
