Fred Kincer December 09, 1930 - December 26, 2008 Fred Kincer, 78, of 16th Street died at 1:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Kincer worked at Reliance Electric/Rockwell Automation for 36 years, retiring in 1996. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and attended Columbus Baptist Church. A devout family man, he was a member of the American Legion, an avid IU fan and enjoyed gardening. Born in Cromona, Ky., Dec. 9, 1930, Mr. Kincer was the son of C. Byron and Delcie Adams Kincer. He married Michelene Minter July 18, 1953 in Woodbridge, England. Survivors include his wife; sons, Jim (Karen) Kincer of Lafayette, Paul Kincer of Greenwood, Gary Kincer of Columbus and Fred C. (C. Denise) Kincer of Indianapolis; daughters, Sharon (Charles) Cash of Greenwood and Michelle (Andrew) Sawin of Indianapolis; brothers, Ross Kincer of Toledo, Ohio, H. Dan Kincer of Dayton, Ohio, and Donnie Kincer of Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son; his parents; brothers, James, Jack and Delbert Kincer; and a sister, Helen Webb. Funeral Information SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Columbus Baptist Church with Mr. Kincers son-in-law, Pastor Charles Cash, officiating. A celebration of Freds life will follow the service at Hampton Inn banquet room. Donations Information MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbus Baptist Church.
