Donald L. Cromwell May 03, 1934 - November 26, 2008 Donald L. Cromwell, 74, of Columbus, died at 5 a.m. of natural causes Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at his home. Mr. Cromwell was a retired computer analyst from Arvin Industries. He was a member of the Brazil Masonic Lodge No. 264. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing euchre and spending time with his grandchildren. Born May 3, 1934 in Brazil, Mr. Cromwell was the son of Robert and Naomi E. Colburn Cromwell. He married Mary Maxine Blackburn in December 1956. Survivors include step-sons, Rick Gilbert of Columbus; Frank Gilbert of Hope and Larry Gilbert of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Debra Sexton, Bernard Gilbert, Wyona Hoover, Mark Gilbert, Michael Gilbert, Tony Gilbert and Don Gilbert and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, on Feb. 21, 2000 and his parents. Donations Information FUNERAL: noon Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Debra Sexton officiating. VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday until service time.
