Louanna E. Niemoeller, 91, of Huffman Drive died at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Niemoeller was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church White Creek and loved her grandchildren, sewing and being a homemaker. She formerly owned and operated Shady Nook Rest Home.
Born in Bartholomew County June 8, 1916, Mrs. Niemoeller was the daughter of William Morris Harry and Carrie Mae Tooley Harry. She married Alvin H. Niemoeller June 8, 1957.
She is survived by sons, Frank (Charlotte) Jordan and Morris (Carolyn) Jordan, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Frank Jordan Jr. and Quentin Starke, both of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Reid Jordan and Katelyn and Cole Starke; and a sister, Margaret Terry of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Niemoeller, Sept. 4, 2003, and her parents.
Funeral Information
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at St. Johns Lutheran Church White Creek with Pastor Eldon Brandt officiating.
VISITATION: noon until service time Monday at the church.
BURIAL: St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery.
