Chris A. Wetzel, 46, of Columbus died at 5:46 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Wetzel was a licensed plumber and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, NASCAR and spending time with his family.
Born in Columbus Nov. 15, 1960, Mr. Wetzel was the son of Richard L. Wetzel and Connie L. Everroad.
He is survived by his mother, of Columbus; sisters, Penny (Jerry Thompson) McMillian, Melody (Lynn Denny) Lambert and Melissa A. (Lee) Vaughn, all of Columbus; brothers, Kevin A. (Rona) Moore and Richard T. (Sheila Gray) Wetzel, both of Columbus; stepbrothers, Michael and Paul Douglas Everroad, both of Memphis, Tenn., and Johnnie Bob (Carolyn) Everroad of Arlington, Tenn.; a stepsister, Tara Maxine (Michael) Farmer of Riverview, Fla.; an aunt, Annette Conrad of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Dallas Everroad, who raised Mr. Wetzel; and a stepsister, Janet Adams.
Funeral Information
VISITATION: Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
BURIAL: Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
