Pansy T. Riley April 16, 1908 - July 18, 2007 Pansy T. Riley, 99, of Mapleton Street died at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Mrs. Riley was a 1927 graduate of Columbus High School and worked at Roviar Shirt Factory for 11 years. An active member of East Columbus Christian Church, she had taught Sunday School and Junior Church, was a member of Priscilla Circle and Ruth Circle and received the Senior Adult Award in 1990. She also was a charter member of Jet Home Ec Club and had been county reporter for the County Home Extension Club. Born in Portland, Ore., April 16, 1908, Mrs. Riley was the daughter of Joseph L. and Myrtle Miller Tatem. She married Eldo A. Riley March 30, 1930. He died Sept. 19, 1972. Survivors include a son, Edwin A. (Dorothy) Riley of Columbus; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kevin) Murphy of Indianapolis, Michael A. (Cassie) Riley of Valparaiso and Christine (Dean) Wright of Columbus; and seven great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Clara Tatem and Sylvia and Geneva Olmstead. Funeral Information VISITATION: Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at East Columbus Christian Church with the Revs. Ron Bridgewater and David Armstrong officiating.
