Steven L. Johnson January 01, 1949 - July 14, 2007 Steven L. Johnson, 58, of Road 650 North, Columbus, Ind., died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007, at his home. Steven graduated from Seymour High School, from Vincennes University and Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors Degree in Science, and from Oakland University with a Masters Degree in Science Manager. He was employed by Cummins Inc. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Garden City Church of Christ where he was a Deacon and played the guitar for the Worship Team. Mr. Johnson was born January 1, 1949, in Seymour, Ind., the son of Raymond L. and Rosalie Johnson. He married Becky Nichter on May 20, 1978. Survivors include his wife; sons, Andrew Brian (Becca) Johnson and David Adam Johnson, both of Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Johnson of Columbus, Ind.; an expected grandchild, Willa Johnson; his mother, of Seymour; brothers, the Rev. Jerry (Vicky) Johnson of Rushville, Ind., and the Rev. Dan (Penny) Johnson of Danville, Ky.; a sister, Janet K. (Jimmy) Hall of Winchester, Ky.; and an uncle and aunt, Earl and Edna McCammon of Seymour, Ind. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter and the Rev. Ron Voss officiating. VISITATION: Will be today from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. BURIAL: Will be at Flatrock Baptist Cemetery in Bartholomew County, Ind.
