Janice Anne Resig April 15, 1950 - July 11, 2007 Janice Anne Resig, 57, of W. Old Nashville Road, Columbus, Ind., died at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at her home. Janice lived her early life in Toledo, Ohio and she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton. She lived in Puerto Rico before moving to Terre Haute, Ind., where she was a Counselor at Rockville Correctional Facility as well as attending Indiana State University. She worked at Westville Correctional Facility for 12 years. She moved to Columbus four years ago and had been superintendent of the Edinburgh Correctional Facility. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She enjoyed music, swimming, shopping and reading. Janice was born April 15, 1950 in Ohio, the daughter of Robert C. and Margaret Ruppel Resig. Survivors include a sister, Jean Cook, of Maumee, Ohio; a brother, Richard (Nikki) Resig of Maumee, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Deanna (Nick) Montanaro of Toledo, Ohio, Jeffrey (Vineta) Cook of Maumee, Ohio, Michelle Cook and Brian (Tammy) Cook, both of Goodyear, Ariz. and Randy and Ryan Resig, both of Maumee, Ohio; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Will be Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, with Father Clem Davis officiating.
