Margaret E. Simpson, 71, of South Pisgah Way died at 4:03 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Simpson was formerly employed by Carpenter School Bus Body Works in Mitchell. She was a former member of Tri Kappa sorority in Mitchell and a member of Welcome Wagon.
A loving and devoted wife, she enjoyed traveling and church work and loved her grandchildren.
Born in Orange County April 25, 1935, Mrs. Simpson was the daughter of Harry and Florance Lesnut Wigley. She married Donald Simpson June 7, 1958.
Survivors include her husband; sons, David Simpson of Elizabethtown and Paul (Renee) Simpson of Camp Douglas, Wis.; grandchildren, Sarah Garrett and Sascha, Sean, Gregorio, Caterina and Rhiannon Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Elaine Garrett.
Funeral Information
FUNERAL: Will be conducted at noon Thursday February 8, 2006 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Wallace officiating.
VISITATION: Will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Donations Information
