Gilbert A. Hey May 23, 1912 - November 09, 2006 Gilbert A. Hey, 94, of Middle Road died at 7:01 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Hey worked for Public Service Indiana (PSI) for 33 years, retiring in 1965. He founded Triangle Mobile Home Park in 1951 and also was one of the founders of Candlelight Village. He was a charter member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, past president of South Central Chapter of Indiana Manufactured Housing Association, and a 50-year member of St. Johns Masonic Lodge No. 20, Yorkrite Masonry and the Scottish Rite. He also was a member of the Murat Shrine. Born in Shelbyville May 23, 1912, Mr. Hey was the son of Martin and Louise Adam Hey. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Meyer Hey, on Feb. 3, 1990. He married Pauline L. Davis Sanford March 23, 1991, and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Martin Hey of Columbus; a stepson, Wayne L. (Paula) Sanford of Indianapolis; daughters, Elizabeth A. (Donald) Harmon of Indianapolis and Kathleen (Denny) Miller of Nappanee; sisters, Virginia Pherigo of Shelbyville and Frances Linsmith, formerly of Columbus, now of Fishers; and grandchildren, Ryan and Stephanie Hey, Sarah Harmon and Lisa Hogan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Keppel. Funeral Information SERVICES: A memorial service and Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday; November 11, 2006 at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steven Geckeler officiating. There will be a reception in the church fellowship hall after the service.
