Garnett L. "Jude" Brock June 17, 1929 - December 15, 2005 Garnett L. Jude Brock, 76, of Iowa Street died at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Brock retired from Golden Foundry on Jan. 17, 1995, after 39 years of service. He was a member of Lowell General Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, yard work, fishing and hunting. Mr. Brock loved his family. Born in Edmonton, Ky., June 17, 1929, Mr. Brock was the son of Edd and Eda Tabor Brock. He married Cora Jeffries Dec. 27, 1948. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark A. Brock of Columbus; daughters, Connie D. Brock and Judy K. Woods, both of Columbus, and Robin L. Gassaway of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Kimberly Copeland, Ted TJ Knox, Michelle Munoz, Melinda Knox, Joey Gassaway, Jessica Gilbert, Ryan Gassaway, Dylan Brock and Dustin Brock; sisters, Carolyn Pittman of Louisville, Ky., Dorothy Vibbert and Louise Hurt, both of Edmonton; and six great-grandchildren.
