William Don Daniel September 14, 1929 - November 29, 2005 William Don Daniel, 76, of Taylorsville died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Mr. Daniels lifelong career in trucking included positions as instructor, driver, owner/operator, CDL examiner, safety engineer for Schneider Trucking, truck dispatcher and safety investigator. A 1948 graduate of Glenn High School in Terre Haute, he served in the Army from 1949 to 1952 and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was past commander of American Legion Post No. 346 in Terre Haute, a 51-year member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Teamsters Union. He was a dog lover and his hobbies included gardening, flowers and RV travel. He enjoyed telling jokes and stories and attended Taylorsville United Methodist Church. Born in Dana, Ind., Sept. 14, 1929, Mr. Daniel was the son of Howard William and Marjorie Bush Daniel. He married Dorothy Sullivan April 18, 1953. Survivors include his wife; sons, William David Daniel of Scipio and Douglas Michael Daniel of Greenwood; daughters, Diana Daniel Larowe of Phoenix, Ariz., and Deena Daniel Fisher of Columbus; sisters, Wilma Jean Withem of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Phyllis Irene Kirk of Prairietown, Ind.; and grandchildren, Devon Olea, Darci Lynn, William Dace, Daylee Miller, Deanna Marie, Dacia Carol-Jean, Isaac Harper and Riley Wyatt Daniel, Katherine Ann and Jacob Edward Larowe, Derek Michael and Alexis Louise and Toni Daniele Fisher.
