Robert W. Croddy, 44, of Fremont Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Croddy was a selfemployed contractor and was formerly employed at Human Services in Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, demolition derby and woodcarving.
He was a former member of the Indiana National Guard.

Mr. Croddy was born July 26, 1961 at Hope, the son of Ralph W. and Katheren Masters Croddy.
Survivors include his mother, fiance, Pam Whittington; stepsons, Jeremy Whittington and Josh Yates, both of Columbus; a daughter, Laura Croddy of Columbus; grandchildren, Alissa Coomer, Seabistion Croddy and Hailey Coomer; brothers, Robin and Russell Croddy, both of Columbus, and Ronnie Croddy; a sister, Karla Croddy Hardin of Columbus; and nephews, Jeff Hardin of Columbus and Jonathan Hardin of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Ralph P. and Ollie May Croddy, Earl V. Masters and Naomi Kress; and a brother, Richard Croddy.
