Former Stadler's Packing Company & Onkyo Retiree Frankie Johnson, 68, of 12th Street died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Johnson was a former employee of Stadler Packing Co. and retired from Onkyo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Mount Eden Christian Church in Little York, Indiana, the Moose and Eagles lodges and the American Legion.
Born in Barren County, Ky., Jan. 17, 1937, Mr. Johnson was the son of James H. and Beulah Melton Johnson. He married Sue Johnson Dec. 9, 1960.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Jeffrey Johnson of Columbus and Gregory Johnson of Brown County; a brother, Clarence Thomas Johnson of California; sisters, Flora Evylin Johnson Coop of Phoenix, Ariz., and Margie Madlin Johnson Pittman of Missouri; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shelby Jean Johnson Crossland; and brothers, Jessie, William, Marvin, Robert and Richard Johnson.
