Charlotte Kay Salmons

Charlotte Kay Salmons, 75, of Columbus, died at 7:58 p.m. May 18, 2019, at Miller's Merry Manor. Charlotte was born March 22, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Lois Davis Mitchell.  She married Glen Richard Salmons September 5, 1965, and he preceded her in death April 16, 2019.   She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed doing word searchers, reading and playing the flute. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sichting officiating. Calling will be 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Survivors include her son, Timothy G. Salmons of Indianapolis and daughter, Christy (Brian) Campbell of Columbus; and grandchildren, Dakota, Kelsey, Heather and Kylie Altepeter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; and a brother, Charles Mitchell II.
