FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m. Friday April 26, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home   VISITATION: Noon until 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Sherry Ann Sanders, 61, passed away April 22, 2019 at her mother’s home.   Sherry was born January 9, 1958 in Hyden, Kentucky, the daughter of Paul Brock and Laura Begley Giles. She was a Facebook advocate for missing persons and loved fishing, rock hunting and playing bingo. She always put her children, grandchildren and family first. Funeral services for Sherry will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday April 26, 2019 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with visitation starting at Noon until the service time. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory of Sherry may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home. Sherry is survived by her mother, Laura Giles; her father, Paul Brock of Crothersville; son, Danny W. “Bub” Sanders and daughter Angel Diane Sanders, both of Columbus; brothers, Bobby (Tina) Giles of Columbus, Roger (Michelle) Giles of Scipio, Charles Giles of Columbus, Patrick (Phyllis) Brock of Crothersville and Eric Lee of Ocala, Florida and sisters, Margie Giles of Columbus, Loretta (Edward) Davis of Columbus, Vanessa Giles of Fairmount, Indiana, Pam Cox of Crothersville, Peggy (Kenny) Brown of Crothersville and Alice Perkins of Washington, Indiana; grandchildren, Corbin Hippensteil, Daniel Kelsey and Makayla Kostrewski.  Sherry was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Giles, who raised her; brothers, Hubert Giles and Ronald Giles and a sister, Lura Burris.   2. Dear Sherry I sure wish I could’ve seen you. I know you tried to come to my dads funeral but I’ll always remember you to say I am in shock would be an understatement I love you and  i’m going to miss you but I know you’re with Jesus now and I will rejoice in that love your nephew bubby

  3. She was my aunt and we would just sit in her room from hours upon end talking about Idians, her rocks, and we played card games. Hell, she taught me how to play poker, I won’t let those memories die Aunt Sherry I love you.
