Barbara L. Lowe

Barbara L. Lowe, 81, of West Becks Grove Road, died at 9:35 a.m. April 17, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Barbara was born July 18, 1937, in Clermont, Indiana, the daughter of Bernard A. and Eunice Reed Bendler.  She married Willard M. Lowe January 1, 1957, and they celebrated 62 wonderful years together this past January. In those 62 years, not once did she and her husband ever have an argument. Barbara enjoyed puzzles, watching hummingbirds, fishing, and crafts. She loved her church family at the Apostolic Bible Church, but she especially loved spending time with her family. The funeral will be conducted graveside at 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019, at Mt. Healthy Cemetery with Pastor Charles Kelly officiating. Calling will be 12:30 p.m. until time of service.  Burial will follow at Mt. Healthy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Bible Church. Survivors include her husband, Willard; sons, Doyle B. (Patricia) Lowe of Taylorsville and Brian D. (Shawna) Lowe of Columbus and a daughter, Karen S. (Jarrod) Owens of Jonesville; sisters, Audrey (Charlie) Crase and Shirley Blair, both of Columbus, Eunice Huber and Rhonda (Dean) Walls, both of Brown County, and Brenda Frank of Nevada; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard A. Bendler and mother, Eunice Leonard; a sister, Phyllis Bruner; and a grandchild, Nathaniel Kreinop.
