Robert Henry White Jr., 70, of Seymour, died at 2:30 a.m. March 23, 2019, at his home. Robert was born September 15, 1948, in Columbus, the son of Robert Henry White,Sr. and Goldie M. Sanford White.  He married Gloria Young and she preceded him in death on October 16, 2012. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m.Friday, March 29, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include his sons, Robert White III of North Vernon and Newton White and John White, both of Seymour, and a daughter, Gail Burton of Brownstown; a sister, Jessie (Tom) Young of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. I used to go over at least once a week to visit with him and his wife once a week before here passing and my accident. He was a great neighbor and friend. He was always out mowing. And he would mow down both sides of the road about half way! He will be missed a lot. Fly High and when u get there tell her hi from us because you know she’s waiting for you.
