Pam L. Minton

Pam L. Minton, 69, of Columbus, passed away, March 1, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Pam was born December 26, 1949 in Columbus, the daughter of Paul Richard and Evelyn J. Eaglin Geilker. She married Kenneth W. Minton September 5, 2009. Pam loved her family. Nothing was more important in her life than her four children Dalene, Deena, Dale, and Dacia. She always found tremendous joy spending time with her husband, her children, as well as her grandchildren, attending the various sporting events they participated in. Pam was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #339, as well as Past Mother Advisor for the Order of Rainbow for Girls. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 6, 2019 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with an Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service taking place, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. Memorials may be made to the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. Survivors include her husband; daughters Dalene M. Pattingill of Columbus, Deena L. Pattingill of Columbus, Dacia L. Smith of Columbus; her daughter-in-law Angie Pattingill of Columbus; step-daughters Tina E. Minton of North Vernon, Nikkita L. (Dan) Day of North Vernon, and Kendra D. (Allen) Marksberry of North Vernon; grandchildren Alisha Satkowiak, Clayton Artis, Devon Pattingill, Ali Hoover, Morgan Artis, Kadin Pattingill, Brayden Smith, Caleb Hoover, Alex Pattingill, Zoee Artis, Seth Lankey, Tucker Artis, and Keeton Pattingill; as well as step-grandchildren Chase Day, Olivia Heaton, Tristan Day, Arlena Day, and Alaina Marksberry; and 8 great-grandchildren, and was looking forward to welcoming her 9th great-grandchild into this world in the coming months. She was preceded in death by her son Dale Paul Pattingill on January 21, 2018 as well as her parents.

Truly missed

I am so sorry for you loss. I worked with Pam many years ago at Centra Credit Union. She had a wonderful laugh, a warm smile and was always willling to listen if anyone needed to talk. Family meant everything to her and she was always proud of her kids and grandkids. May God comfort you and I will keep you all in my prayers.
