Ray was a super nice man, went to high school with Ray, Also played some softball, and followed Ray in his prime playing softball, RIP dear friend.
Positive thoughts for the entire Anderson family. Ray always treated me well, and I enjoyed spending time with him hearing stories from his softball days, and getting to play golf with him at Greenbelt G.C. Rest in Peace Ray.
Prayers for the entire Anderson family and friends in this sad time. He was definitely a legend on the softball diamond! Such a kind man.
So sorry to read that Ray has passed away. He worked for my dad and was such a sweet man. I’ll never forget him dressing up as Santa and how wonderful he was with all of the children. And he was especially kind to Justin when he was very sick. God bless you all, especially Cheri, his sons and grandchildren. God received a gentle soul.
Sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
Ray was an AWESOME Uncle I have many great memories of him from when I was small and him trying to teach me about his duffel bag of golf balls. Or Wrestling with all of us kids until Grandma would holler Ray leave those kids alone or watching him in Grandmas bathroom looking in the mirror talking to him self always the same you handsome devil don’t you ever die. Then when I wears older the way he took care of Grandma And Grandpa every morning bring them breakfast while I was their taking care of them and even after I left to work full time he was there every morning checking on them he always had time for all of us I Love you Uncle Ray Rest In Peace. Aunt Cheri I know you and the boys will miss home like crazy hogs and love to all of you.
Cheri I’m so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. God bless and comfort you.
Dear Cheri and Family, Ray was a guy who always made you smile. I have good memories of being young and all of us bowling together, Ray & Sheri, Jack (Dixon) and my sis, Bonnie Neal Davis, and me. When we closed the bowling alley down, we’d all go to Waffle House which was at the corner of 25th & National Road, and get fairly rowdy and stay until the wee hours of the morning. What fun we had and what pleasant memories still fresh after all these years. Cheri, I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious husband,. Take care. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
As a youngster playing softball with Countryside Pools Ray was my idol. Their was never a fence that could contain his power. Ray….your quick wit kept us all in stitches. Will never forget you and I splitting a whole bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken between games at Gieser Park. Gods getting the perfect clean-up hitter for his team.??🙏🏼
Sad Times; My heartfelt condolences goes out to your family. I had the pleasure of knowing Ray, which he was a great guy to have known (funny man) we bowled together with my brother Bob which he also played softball with for many years. He will be sadly missed…… Sincerely Christopher Skene
Ray was one of my childhood friends. We spent hours at the city course and at Otter Creek. Ray and I walked many miles together (listening to him sing the BEATLES song, “YOU CAN’T DO THAT”… I will miss him. He was a wonderful and positive person. When I bowled with Ray, it was the first time that I thought maybe he found a sport he wouldn’t be able to master. The next time I came home from the military, old Ray was bowling 235’s continually. Ray was one of the most athletic people I have ever met. There was nothing he couldn’t do. I always considered Ray one of my closest friends. Such a nice guy…
