Donna J. Wampler, 85, of Columbus, passed away on December 28, 2018 at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Donna was born March 7, 1933 in Columbus, the daughter of Edward and Arietta Collins Logerman. She married Robert G. Wampler Jr. on February 11, 1951. A private graveside service will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date. Donna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert; sons Robert E. (Beth) Wampler of Noblesville and David Brian Wampler of Edinburgh; a daughter Connie (Terry) Meyer of Columbus; grandchildren Matthew (Lorna) Meyer, Lyndsey (Ryan) Linneweber, Stephanie (Travis) Quillen, and Morgan Wampler; great-grandchildren Kai and Cooper Linneweber, Thea, Larkin, and Elnora Meyer, as well as Landry and Brantley Quillen; and a sister Betty Jordan of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a daughter, Barbara Wampler.

My mom ( Shirley Alvis) and Donna worked together for many, many years at the High School cafeteria’s. They had a special friendship not only at work, but shared life and love of their families. Donna always had a smile on her face and had a joyous laugh, she was beautiful lady inside and out. Cherish your memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Donna’s family.
