Mark L. Galbraith, 69, of Knoxville, Tennessee, died November 25, 2018, at his home. Mark was born November 30, 1948, in Columbus, the son of Robert L. and Harriet L. LaRue Galbraith.  He married his wife of 30 years, Karen Babbs, on March 31, 1988. He was an avid fan of all motorsports and loved animals and music. Mark adored his family, especially his nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Jones officiating. Calling will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Mark’s memory. Survivors include his wife, Karen; sisters, Karen Galbraith (Lonnie R.) Williams of Columbus and Sally Smith (Stephen) Caro of Gulf Shores, Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julie and Dennis Michael, Mark and Anna Babbs and Angela Petro; nieces and nephews, Jamie Hill, Joshua Michael, Justin Michael, Colby Babbs, Jacob Babbs, Ryan Ranard, Kylie Petro and Megan Petro; and 15 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Galbraith and mother, Harriet L. Brown.
