Barbara Irene Hoover, 67, of 31st Street, died at 9:14 p.m. August 9, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Barbara was born November 1, 1950, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Oda James and Helen Louise Gibson Worton. She married Harold Hoover and he survives. She retired from Dorel. Barbara loved the Lord and had been the worship leader for 20 years at the Church of God. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.     Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Harold; sons, Charles Ray (Kathy) Worton and Harold E. Hoover, both of Columbus; brothers Jack Worton of Columbus and Richard Worton of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Roberta McQueen of Columbus; and grandchildren, Joshua Landell Brockman and Danielle Lovins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Worton, Jesse Worton, Thomas Worton and Nelson Worton.
