SERVICES: FUNERAL: Will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 9, 2018 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: May be made to the BCRF (Breast Cancer Research Foundation). Mary R. Dile, 83, of Columbus, passed away at 10:00 a.m. August 4, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mary was born February 14, 1935 in Shelby County, the daughter of Byron J. Cutsinger and Opal B. McQueen Cutsinger. She married Noah S. Dile on November 19, 1949 in Jamestown, Kentucky. Mary retired from Arvin Industries after 44 years of service. She enjoyed camping, boating, and travelling with her husband. After retirement, she and Noah spent the winters in Florida. Survivors include a son Samuel R. (Maria “Emmie” Hemingway) Dile of St. Cloud, Florida; grandchildren Mindy Dile-Baker, Benjamin S. Lewis; and Brent Lewis all of Columbus; great-grandchildren Sharon V. Lewis, Haley Boatwright, Maya Baker, Aliza Baker, Romanza D. Lewis, Nevaeh Lewis, Dante Lewis, and Colin Richey. She was preceded in death by her husband Noah on October 15, 2017; a son Noah Randal Dile; a daughter Sharon Diana Dile-Lewis; brothers Russell, Jack, Calvin, and Buddy Cutsinger; sisters Leoma Gilbert and Diana Bean.
