Louise Baldwin

Louise Baldwin, 85, of Columbus, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.  Louise was born December 7, 1932 in Adair County, Kentucky to the late Charlie Bryant and Sister Burton Bryant.  She married Robert H. Baldwin Jan. 29, 1949, he preceded her in death Sept. 26, 2012. Louise retired as a baker with Bartholomew County Consolidated School Corporation after many years and attended East Columbus Separate Baptist Church. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Whited officiating.  Calling will be from 4p.m. to 8p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.  Louise is survived by her sons; Steve (Sandy) Baldwin of Oak Hill, FL; and Robert (Mary Lou) Baldwin of Columbus; a daughter, Rebecca (Wayne) Jackson of Columbus; brothers, Charlie (Vanessa) Bryant of Columbus, Tom (Shirley) Bryant of Columbus; sisters, Shirley Gallager of Reno, NV and Helen Zebell of Columbus; grandchildren Michelle Orr, Robert (Hope) Baldwin and Scott (Sara) Jessie; and great-grandchildren, Maya Jessie, Nina Jessie, Reagan Baldwin, and Braeden Baldwin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Ralph, Johnny, and Willie Bryant and sisters, Phyllis Anderson, Mabel Foist, Mary Green, and Pearl Sutton.
