Lee, 72, of Blessing Road, died at 12:06 a.m. April 17, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Marjorie was born July 4, 1945, in Columbus, the daughter of Grover Lucas and Opal Pike. She married Delbert Lee in September of 1963. She was a member of Columbus General Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fields officiating. Calling will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband, Delbert; son, Ronald Dean Lee of Seymour; brother, David (Mona) Gates of Bedford; sisters, Pattie (Randy) Skeen of Seymour, Jolene Dalton of Ohio and Suzi Strickland of Florida; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Delbert “J.D.” Lee; brothers, Steven Wright, Johnny Wright and Jim Wright; and a sister, Rhonda Christman. Grandma, Its Haley Again im missing you more than ever We have just began the month of April and i feel i have a whole in my heart everyday and piece that will never be restored today i count 13 days till that one year since you had to leave earth. Im sorry me and Matthew were the only grand children who cared to come and see you . All the time i got with you since i was a tiny baby till now i cherish everyday because life is precious and it can be gone in a snap of a finger. I love you so so so much Im gonna still try and do what i can to be the best in the world even tho you wont see grow up on earth you will see me in heaven. Talk later Grandma I love you..
Hey Grandma… Its fun how grandpa loved you but Your gone now and he wants to just act like you never Existed And I miss you so much Grandpa waited a freaking year to Find some one knew its ridiculous How He called today… and Said Hes getting Married Again In June ,Cant believe this is Actually Happening. Why did you have to go first It wasn’t your time. We Wouldn’t be going to hell right now I would be Happier. Things went south ever since you passed School would be easier, I wouldn’t have to Fake a smile, I wouldn’t have to Spend my 16th birthday feeling alone..
