Louann was born February 18, 1964, in Columbus, the daughter of Dale and Shirley Denney Spears. She married Ernest R. “Ray” Vaught June 12, 1989. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Garris officiating. Calling will be 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Louann Vaught Memorial Fund through the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Ray; sons, Johnny (Julia) Cutsinger of Columbus, Kyle (Jessica) Vaught of Reddington and Cordell Vaught of Columbus, daughters, Nastassia (David) Powers of Hayden, Brittany (Jason) Burns of Columbus and Sierra (Austin) Hover of North Vernon; a brother, Jeff (Melissa) Spears of Columbus, sister, Teresa (Tony) Irvin of Columbus; sister-in-law, Denise Spears of North Vernon; stepmother, Janice Sue Spears of Columbus; and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Spears, mother, Shirley Compton; and a brother, Jonathan Spears.

Mommy- yu will nvr know how much I love yu and how much Im missing yu. Im still in shock and I know I will never get over this. I feel so lost without you and its not even been two days since you were called home. I dont know how Im going to make it the rest of my life without my mommy. Its not fair you was taken so soon.
