Bruce L. Muellenberg

Bruce Muellenberg, 63, of Hartsville, formerly of Yorktown, Indiana, died at 6:44 p.m. at his home. He was born June 27, 1954, in Columbus to Douglas and Mary Foist Muellenberg. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the NRA. He enjoyed fishing with his grandkids and hunting. Bruce was an avid mechanic, enjoyed restoring old cars, and coaching baseball and t-ball. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Marc Vance officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home to help with final expenses. He is survived by his father, Douglas; son, J.J. (Lacy) Muellenberg of Yorktown; daughters, Robin, (John) Owen and Karen (Casey) Matern, both of Columbus and Angela (Lee) Beatty of Muncie; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, a brother Brent Muellenberg, and a sister, Karen Muellenberg.
