Sookja Kim, 78, of Columbus died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Willow Crossing. Mrs. Kim was born May 4, 1940 in Kangwon, Korea. She came to United States in 1994. She loved to take care of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking Korean food for her family and Korean friends. She was the best cook in the world. Mrs. Kim is survived by her sons; Hyunjoon Kim and his partner Donald Dahn of Columbus and Hyunsoo Kim and his wife, Eunjoo Lee of Korea; two daughters, Mijung Ma and her husband, Victor Ma of Fishers, Indiana and Mikyeong Kim and her husband, Sangwoo Lee of Korea; six grandchildren, Alan Ma, Karen Ma, Amanda Hess, Sanghoon Lee, Gunwoo Kim, and Yulin Kim. Calling for Sookja will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Cremation has been chosen per Mrs. Kim’s wishes. www.jewellrittman.com
