SERVICES:FUNERAL: Will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: May be made to the donor’s favorite charity.  Sharon K. West, 66, of Columbus, passed away at 1:31 p.m., February 2, 2018, at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis.Sharon was born August 10, 1951 in Columbus, the daughter of Coy and Rissie Burton. She married Phillip M. West on April 22, 2000. Sharon retired from Arvin Industries in 2017 after 40 years of service. She was also one of the business partners in “The Sandwich Shop” here in Columbus. The love of Sharon’s life was her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband Phillip; a son Anthony (Amanda Gates) Everroad of Columbus; a daughter Amy (James) Barrier of Jacksonville, Florida; a brother Michael (Sue) Burton of Albany, Kentucky; sisters Jean Murray, Lois (Ray) Wright, and Gayle Burton all of Columbus; step-children Kenny West of Nashville, Indiana and Kimberly (Bill) Hodap of Columbus; grandchildren Joshua Burton, Brandon Miller, Joseph Burton, Kayeden Everroad, Isaiah Burton, Sarah Burton, Daniel Burton, Tyler Barrier, Gavin Mahoney, and Slater Barrier.She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Alvin Burton.
