Timothy was born August 15, 1959, in Columbus, the son of James and Frances Lawhorn Edwards.  He married Marcella Tidwell May 23, 1981. He was a member of Come as You Are Ministries and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany for one year. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Hurt officiating. Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors include his wife, Marcella; daughters, Brandy (Josh) Dixon of Butlerville and Rebecca (Curtis) Asher of Columbus; brothers, Mike (Sharon) Edwards of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Paul (Kimberly) Edwards of Greenwood; a sister, Lois (Rick) Edwards Pierce of Campbellsville, Kentucky; grandchildren,  Austin Dooley, Tristan Dixon, Clayton Dixon, Kaleigh Pruett and Trinity Asher; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Edwards; and one sister, Ruth Fikes.
