FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. BURIAL:  Daugherty Cemetery. MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the Robert D. Jordan Memorial Fund through the funeral home.  Robert D. Jordan, 61, of Golden Maize Drive, died unexpectedly on December 17, 2017, in Columbus. Robert was born December 14, 1956, in Columbus, the son of Lillian Imel. He was married to Margaret Wise for 40 years. He was previously employed by Dolly Madison Bakery, Rumpke of Indiana, and retired from Celadon Trucking. Robert loved all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Indiana Hoosiers. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, bowling and going to the casino. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Robert D. Jordan Memorial Fund through the funeral home. Survivors include his mother, Lillian Imel of Columbus; wife, Margaret of Columbus; sons, Clinton Jordan of Indianapolis and Dillon Jordan of Columbus; a brother, Kenneth (Lori) Imel of Jacksonville, Florida; sister-in-law, Kathy Jordan; grandson and best friend, Payton Ryan Jordan and granddaughter, Makayla Reynolds; along with his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his cat, Kiki. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Jordan.
