Marjorie L. Spaulding

Marjorie L. Spaulding, 89, of Sycamore Street, died at 6:10 a.m. October 8, 2017, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab. Marjorie was born July 10, 1928, in Frankfort, Kentucky, the daughter of Joseph T. and Syble P. Shuck Holcomb. She married Frederick Spaulding and he preceded her April 15, 1982. She attended Parkside Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted graveside at 1p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Crothersville Cemetery, Crothersville, Indiana. Interment will follow. There will be no time of public visitation. Survivors include her son, Jeff (Tina) Barnes of Columbus; grandchildren, Tasha Barnes and James Barnes both of Columbus; and great- grandchildren, Bryce Wise, Ashlyn Hadley, Jaylyn Barnes, Gia Barnes and Allison Barnes, all of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick; and ten siblings.

Margie sure was a sweet lady and she will be missed! I’ve attended church with her at Parkside for many years and assisted in her care at Willow Crossing as well.
