Health Bloomington Hospital. Marcia was born April 1, 1935, in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of William P. and Beatrice Glore Douglas. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1953 and retired from Cummins Engine Company after 43 years of service. Marcia was a world traveler and loved writing poetry, drawing, photography, and growing flowers. Survivors include her sister, Joyce Douglas Danielson of Bloomington; nephews, Keith (Martha) Danielson and Ross Danielson; nieces, Kari (Matt) Lordier and Susan Sharpe; a cousin, Earl R. Douglas; five great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert "Bob" Douglas and Richard Douglas; brother-in-law, Mike Danielson; sister-in-law, Ruby Douglas; and a niece, Lori Ann Douglas. She was a very giving soul and a loving daughter, sister and aunt. “I was inland born and it seems so wrong for I so love the sea.
