Mary was born September 5, 1956, in Columbus, the daughter of George M. and Frances Josephine Mathis Lucas and a sister to 11 brothers. She married William E. Imlay III and he preceded her in death November 5, 2016. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Lucas officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday. Interment will be at Lucas-Reeves Cemetery in Brown County. Survivors include her sons, Virgil (Lisa) Smith and William M. (Michelle) Imlay, both of Seymour; stepdaughters, Kimberly (Ed) Hayes, Tina (James) Haste, Teresa Taylor and Amanda Lucas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and several brothers.
