Connie J. Smith

In keeping with Connie’s wishes, a cremation is planned. There will be no services. Connie J. Smith, 71, of Columbus, passed away July 25, 2017, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Connie was born in Columbus, the daughter of Wayne and Faith A. Huntsman Smith. Connie loved watching sports, especially NASCAR and the NFL. She was fantastic at multitasking, often found watching her favorite team and playing a game at the same time.  Most of all, Connie was a wonderful companion and friend. Survivors include close friend and companion, Nada Whittington of Columbus; sister, Bonnie Sykes of Moss Beach, California; and a niece, Janet Rozier. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Wayne Smith; as well as a sister, Linda Jo Borre’.
