Burgeson, 90, of Taylor Road, died at 12:48 p.m. July 23, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. John was born April 3, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Arthur Edmund Burgeson, Sr. and Mabel Christina Sandquist Burgeson.  He married Dolores Ann Nettleton June 14, 1952. He was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from 3M in 1991 after 41 years of service. John attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir. He was also active with the Boy Scouts as an Eagle Scout and scout leader. He and Dolores were active members of the Tartanaires, a song and dance group from the 3M Company. The funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Four Seasons Chapel with Pastor Patrick Galligar officiating. Calling will be from 10a.m. until time of service Saturday at the Four Seasons Chapel.  Interment will be at a later date in Minnesota. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Four Seasons Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; sons, David E. (Pam) Burgeson of Elwood, Illinois and Philip J. (Audra) Burgeson of North Branch, Minnesota; daughters, Gail (Mark) Miller of Columbus and Alice (Jim) Peterson of North Branch, Minnesota; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Arthur Edmund Burgeson Jr.
