Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Pastor Wayne and family – we had the privilege of meeting your father several times, he was a very nice man. What a mighty impact he had on the kingdom and I am sure that he heard the words, “Well done good a faithful servant!” Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and we rejoice in the fact that as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death – that it is just that, a shadow! For Christ has defeated death and we know that we can see him again, in heaven, on that great re day. May God wrap His loving arms of love and comfort around each of you and flood your hearts with precious memories and peace. Love, Don and Jen Sanders & family

  2. My favorite memory of Virl comes from when I was about 10 years old. He came to our church with his guitar. I was the piano player (because my dad, our pastor, thought I could play) but not a good one at 10 years old. Virl always made accommodations for my lack of skill and talent and often sang in a key not suited for his voice as I could only play in the key that was in the hymnal. He would ask “what key is that”. I’d respond, “I don’t know…there’s 3 flats or 4 sharps”… whatever was on the page. He would strum a few cords and always find the key I was in. He was a real guitar player and he made me feel like a real piano player. I’ll never forget his kindness to a nervous little girl with no talent for music. We played together in church for several years and became great friends.

  3. Pastor Murray will be missed by many. He was almost a great man that love God, hiss family and even his church family. So sorry for your lose but he is in the Heavenly Gates having a wondeeful time riding on that white horse
