FUNERAL: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy McIntyre and Wayne Fraval officiating CALLING: 4:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home ENTOMBMENT: Private family emtombment will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery Kevin Lyndell Russell, 56, of East Coffey Drive, died at 8:31p.m. July 14, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Kevin was born July 24, 1960, in Columbus, the son of Elmer L. and Glenda Sue Lawson Russell. He was a graduate of Purdue University and enjoyed sports, hunting and target shooting. The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy McIntyre and Wayne Fraval officiating. Calling will be from 4p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Private entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum on Thursday. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Glenda Sue (Estel) Gabbard of Columbus; daughter, Casey Ann Russell of Tempe, Arizona; and a son, Morley Russell of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Russell.

I gave Kevin CPR before the EMTs arrived. Though I didn’t know him, it was clear that he was well loved at Rural King. I have been thinking of him and your family. You all are in my prayers.
